My name is Kathy Tellstrom. I have been a resident of Door County Wisconsin and a member of the Sturgeon Bay community for twenty (plus) years. My husband is a grade school teacher for the Sturgeon Bay Public School District. We are the proud parents of six amazing children. I have spent the past twenty-five (plus) years of my life dedicated to my family, highly involved in school, church and community activities.
I have always had a passion for birth and parenting and therefore decided to become a Birth/Postpartum Doula. I received and completed my training through Childbirth International as a Certified Doula and Certified Childbirth Educator. I also received Perinatal Bereavement Counseling Training through Perinatal Bereavement Services of Ontario, Canada.

She helped him - help me. He said he couldn't help but smile. Every time he holds our baby...he thinks about what a great job he did during our birth!" Door County Client

"Kathy provided the tools we need to manage our pain and stay positive during a very difficult labor experience. I don't know what we would have done without her at our side, urging us to stay focused and to relax. I am so grateful for her compassion and knowledge. It meant having a birth experience that resulted in a positive experience, even though we were looking at a C-section. Thank you!" Green Bay Client
"I LOVED and appreciated how she took time to get to know us and used what she learned to create our very own unique birth experience. It was truly amazing! It was like she was ahead of us the whole time...offering comfort measures and massage before we knew what we needed! At the same time I felt so powerful knowing that I was in control of my own pain! I can't wait to do it again!" Green Bay Client
